Something About Us - Teaser (by Gab Madrid)
This video was supposed to be a color test of some sort. Notice that the illustrations are drawn free mouse. (Free hand, but with a mouse. Get it? :D). Then, I decided to clean it up a little, and made it into a teaser video. :)
The final version will have a style different from this one. Watch out for it! :)

Woohoo, finally done with this. After months of redoing the pencils for this (I was never happy with the composition), I’ve finished this commission. Allen requested for a Godzilla construct, so I put it in the background. (And yep, his uniform was inspired by the Team Fortress 2 medic. A bad-ass doctor must have a bad-ass uniform.) (PS - Allen is studying in med school right now.)

Working on a little something. :) Here’s a work-in-progress preview. Also, what is another word for commission? As in “I commissioned an artist to do this artwork for me”? or “This artist is open for commissions”?
Various Darna sketches from the time when I was in college (2007-2011) PLUS a Darna artwork from when I was in high school (a drawing done around 2005). Back then, I drew anime. Look at all those rainbow lens flares. It’s a little embarrassing but I thought it would be nice to show how much my style has changed all these years.
Btw, yep I use the backsides of school documents for sketching. You only need them for a day or week anyway.
Various Captain Barbell sketches from the time when I was in college (2007-2011). You can see a little bit of my development here. In my version of Captain Barbell, he also has the ability to change the size of his barbell, and use it as a giant hammer.
Kapre character design for Diwa: Warriors of Lore. :D Gave the kapre fire-breathing powers (which he acquires from his cigar). I’ve read that kapre have this fear of fire, but what happens when one of them overcomes it? What would it take to overcome it? BACKSTORY~~
