Sketch! Captain Barbell/Enteng and the Magic Barbell Concept. :)
From Wikipedia:

Captain Barbell is a fictional Filipino superhero created by writer Mars Ravelo and artist Jim Fernandez.
Enteng, a poor, wimpy and skinny but kindhearted boy always gets bullied by other people because he is undersized and easy to pick on. He tries to practice weight training and exercise to improve his physique, but his poor status prevents him to do it properly. He ends up buying (or finding in other versions) an old, secondhand and rusty barbell for him to practice on. He later discovers that the Barbell contains hidden powers, when he lifts it in one hand and shouts the name “Captain Barbell”, he transforms to Captain Barbell, a superhero possessing invulnerability, super strength, x-ray vision, incredible speed and the power of flight. With his newfound powers, he fights evil forces and protects the weak and helpless. Captain Barbel is created after the DC character, Captain Marvel (Shazam).

(In other versions iirc, he acquires the barbell as a reward from defending an old man who turns out to be a powerful wizard. Or was that Darna?)
I always wanted Captain Barbell to use the Magic Barbell as a weapon, not just as a tool used for transformation/summoning, like a magical double-ended mace. Also, since it was magical, maybe he could change the barbell’s size or length. I want this to be Captain Barbell’s main special skill: wielding and manipulating the barbell. I didn’t want him to be just “the Filipino Superman/Captain Marvel (DC)”. He could still have super strength, and partial invulnerability, but preferably not completely indestructible.
Also, dat art style. It’s been out with only one episode and I’m already watching too much Tron: Uprising.
Sucks to run out of space on the paper, too.
